Stay Motivated: The Push Through

Updated: Jun 3, 2018

Sometimes life can get hectic but when we can regain balance and create present solutions to our problems that's when we get ahead. I have a crazy week if you feel me keep reading we can get through it together!

How do you keep moving forward without loosing your mind? Life can be hectic, crazy and all over the place sometimes. When you have a family it can become down right overwhelming because your decisions now effect more than just you, they effect everyone in your home. Firstly do not be too hard on your self, for some people this can be really difficult because failure is not an option, but make sure you find activities that also boost your mood during these times. A great way to achieve balance during difficult and stressful times is exercise! Ride a bike, walk around a scenic park, go to the gym, or try a free yoga or dance class. Meditation can also be very helpful to destress, there are many YouTube videos out for guided meditations as well as music/frequencies that can help calm the mind and put you in a meditative state. Other activities I do that make me feel better, are gardening, or being creative by making skin/hair care products, painting, making jewelry or wigs. What ever you do find something that makes you smile when your doing it and takes your mind off of the B.S.

“Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete? Proving nature's laws wrong, it learned to walk without having feet. Funny, it seems to by keeping it's dreams; it learned to breathe fresh air. Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else even cared..”

For me organization and time management have been key, to regaining my sanity. I function better when everything has a place and I have a schedule for the things I want to do. This past year things were all over the place, and I just spontaneously did what I wanted to do but it has pushed my timeline on some of my personal goals back so I needed to rethink my plans and reorganize my life. I also have realized also how much time social media takes away from my daily productivity, and my enjoyment of everyday moments. Lately I have given myself scheduled times to utilize my social accounts, I have given myself an hour to browse and view Facebook, IG, or Twitter for fun, and one-two hours for posting and other business. This gives me more time to read books that give me a refill or new outlook on life. My current read is The Way Of The Wizard By Deepak Chopra. ( insightfully delightful)

Overall the main way I stay motivated is to take a deep breath and remember I am a spirit having a human experience. I am here to remember my spirit man in running this human show. My soul comes from a realm where problems, money, ect. do not exist, and when I remember that it makes me work more on my being and worry less about what I cannot control in this outside world. Every breath is a reason to show gratitude and appreciation for the opportunities that are at our fingertips. So remember who you are and try not to let the littles things get to you, change what can be change and accept what can't!!! Have a beautiful day and thanks for reading!!!!
